When can I check in?

Our standard check-in time is from 4pm. If you plan to arrive later than 11pm, please contact the property directly beforehand, so we can ensure everything’s ready for you.

Can I check in earlier?

Early check in and Late check out are available at Cove - Landmark Pinnacle, Cannon Street, Centrum Passage, Minshull Street, Paradise Street, Wittenberg by Cove.

Early check in and Late check out are not available at Cove - Arne Street, St Martins, Huntingdon House and Moorgate as these are self check-in properties.  

If you'd like to get started with your stay earlier, you can check in from 2pm at applicable properties for an additional fee (subject to availability).

• Contact the property directly to add it to your existing booking.

How do I check in?

When you arrive, head to Reception to collect your keys from our friendly House Hosts. If you've checked in online, your process will be quicker.

Some Cove locations offer self-check-in kiosks after 4pm, but please note, not all properties have this option.

For self-check in properties, guests will receive detailed instructions via email.

For Huntingdon House, guests must go to partner property Ember Locke (next door) to check-in and retrieve the access code to the main entrance, and metal turnkey for their individual apartment.

For Arne Street, St Martins and The Moorgate, guests will receive an email containing details about the arrival process, and any access codes required on the day of arrival. We recommend adding any extras to your stay before arrival, so these can be arranged in advance.

What do I need to bring with me?

Please bring:

• Your confirmation email
• Official photo ID (passport or driving licence only)
• Payment card or the method used to book

Even if you’ve checked in online, we’ll still need these items for verification.

Why do I need to show ID?

It’s a legal requirement to verify your identity to help protect against fraud. You also need to be 18 or over (unless accompanied by a parent or guardian).

Storing your luggage

If you’re staying at one of our staffed properties, we’re happy to store your luggage for free during the day so you can explore the city without the hassle of carrying your bags. This service is available until your check-in or check-outtime.

Please note that at the unstaffed properties Cove St Martins and Cove Arne Street, luggage storage is not available for the day. However, guests can leave their luggage at SACO Holborn at Spens House, 72-84 Lamb's Conduit St, London WC1N 3LT.

For Moorgate by Cove, guests can store their luggage before or after their stay using the Bringme Boxes on Level 1. Please note that only three boxes are available, so this service is subject to availability and costs £10 per day. To book in advance, please contact the team. You can find the contact details here.

Check-out is at 11am. You can leave anytime before then.

Can I check out later?

If you need a little more time, we offer late check-out until 1pm at applicable properties for an additional fee (subject to availability). Just ask at Reception or contact the property during your stay.

Wittenberg by Cove, Amsterdam
On-site parking is available for €45.00 per day (including 9% VAT) when reserved before check-in. Without a prior reservation, parking is available at €6.00 per hour.

Cove – Minshull Street, Manchester
Limited secure on-site parking is available for £22 per night. This must be booked in advance and is subject to availability. 

Cove – Paradise Street, Liverpool
Limited on-site parking is available for £20 per night. Spaces must be booked in advance and are subject to availability.
